DXF Viewer & Measure ("the app", "we", "us") is a mobile application for Android that opens, displays and measures DXF CAD drawing files. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it. By using the app you agree to this policy.
None. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, location data, contacts, photos, or any other category of user data. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking technologies of any kind inside the app.
The app declares no dangerous permissions in its manifest — no storage, no camera, no location, no microphone, no contacts, no network state. File access happens exclusively through the Android system document picker, which grants the app one-time access only to the specific file you select.
The app functions completely offline. It does not require an internet connection for any feature and does not communicate with any external server, API, or third-party service.
The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash-reporting services, or social media SDKs. No data is shared with third parties because no data is collected in the first place.
The app is a utility suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). Since the app collects no data at all, no child's data can be collected, stored, or shared.
Because all processing happens locally and no data ever leaves your device, the risk surface is minimal by design. Your files remain under the protection of your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, and Android sandboxing).
The only data the app stores are your local preferences (such as unit settings) and the recent-files list — both kept on your device only. You can erase everything at any time via Android Settings → Apps → DXF Viewer & Measure → Storage → Clear data, or by uninstalling the app. Nothing persists anywhere else, because nothing is ever sent anywhere.
Under privacy regulations such as the GDPR (EU), CCPA/CPRA (California), and similar laws, you have rights over personal data — access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection. Because this app collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or port. If you have any question about these rights, contact us using the details below.
If we ever change how the app handles data (for example, in a future update), we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect. Material changes will be highlighted in the app's update notes.
Questions, concerns, or feedback about this Privacy Policy or the app? We're happy to help.
